Jason’s Deli Opens New Cinco Ranch Location on July 12

Jason’s Deli will open its newest location at 7114 S Fry Rd in Cinco Ranch on Saturday, July 12, starting at 10:00 a.m.

This marks the brand’s second restaurant in the Katy area, following its successful Grand Parkway spot.

Conveniently situated near Katy-Gaston Road, the spacious 4,727-square-foot eatery is poised to serve residents of Grand Lakes, Westheimer Lakes, and Seven Meadows, offering a closer dining choice for these growing communities.

Founded in 1976 in Beaumont, Jason’s Deli now spans over 250 locations across 28 states, known for its “clean food” mission and menu free of artificial colors, high-fructose corn syrup, MSG, and trans fats.

Green Ribbons for Texas Hill Country: How Katy Residents Can Join Statewide Tribute to Flood Victims

The Texas Hill Country is reeling after Fourth of July floods left more than 100 dead, including 27 from beloved Camp Mystic along the Guadalupe River.

In response, Texans have united by tying green ribbons—the camp’s signature color—around trees, offering visible support and remembrance for victims and families still awaiting news of missing loved ones.

Katy residents are now encouraged to join this statewide gesture of solidarity and hope.

Across communities, from Houston to Highland Park, green ribbons and illuminated buildings serve as powerful tributes. Memorial City Mall’s glowing green stands as a local beacon of compassion.

Tying a green ribbon is a simple act, but it powerfully communicates unity, empathy, and collective strength.

Together, Katy can offer heartfelt support and let Camp Mystic’s families know their grief is shared across Texas.
